About the Book

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before placing an order with Healing Light Press. By placing an order for our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the following terms and conditions:

Definitions

“Website” refers to all online information found on Healing Light Press’s website pages.

“Customer,” “You,” or “Yours” refers to you and/or any individual placing an order on your behalf with Healing Light Press.

“Company,” “We,” or “Our” refers to Healing Light Press.

“Product” refers to all services and goods offered by Healing Light Press to the Customer in accordance with their Order.

“Order” refers to a request placed by the Customer, either by telephone or email, to acquire services or products from Healing Light Press. Payments made through credit cards, debit cards, wire transfers, or PayPal are required to finalize orders.

Services

Healing Light Press provides a range of services, including editing, publishing, and graphic design. Specific terms for each service are outlined in your service agreement.

Revision Policy

Depending on the package selected, revisions may be included.

If the requirements change, an additional fee may be applied.

Refund Policy

Change of Mind

A 100% refund is available if no work has been initiated, meaning no team has been assigned, and no work has begun.

If work has started and the project is canceled within the first 24 hours, you are entitled to a partial refund.

Once the project has been initiated, and at least one deliverable has been produced or a revision has been availed, refund requests will no longer be accepted. However, we encourage discussing such cases with your project manager for potential compensation.

Incompetent Delivery

If errors occur during the project requirement analysis phase, customers may request a refund.

Revision changes (up to three times) are offered to resolve such issues.

Late Delivery

Standard turnaround time for deliverables is 2 to 3 weeks depending on project length.

How to Claim a Refund

Inform your project manager about your concern and reason for requesting a refund.

Refund Timeframe

Refunds can be claimed before the project is completed.

Requests made after project completion will be reviewed based on client approvals and project details.

Cases for Non-Issuance of Refunds

Refunds will not be processed for minor issues such as grammatical errors, typos, word count discrepancies, or missing references. The company may instead offer discounts for future purchases.

Intellectual Property Rights

Healing Light Press respects intellectual property rights. By placing an order, you confirm that you have the necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to use any content provided for your project. Healing Light Press will not be held liable for any infringement or unauthorized use of intellectual property by the Customer.

Confidentiality

Healing Light Press understands the importance of confidentiality. All information provided by the Customer will be treated as confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties without the Customer’s consent, except where required by law.

Limitation of Liability

Healing Light Press will not be responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from the use or inability to use our services. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of the information provided.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the Province of Nova Scotia.

Modifications to the Terms and Conditions

Healing Light Press reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services signifies acceptance of the updated terms and conditions.
